Overview[]
Madison challenges Zoey to a competition at Lightning Point's most dangerous surfing spot; Zoey wipes out and morphs into her alien form.
Synopsis[]
Zoey is finding Brandon a challenging surfing adversary. He’s even started to compliment her on her moves. But there’s one person who doesn’t like this change in Brandon – Madison. Zoey is feeling on top of the world, so when Madison casually challenges Zoey to surf the infamous Lighthouse break with her, Zoey accepts. If Madison can do it, why can’t she? But Zoey underestimates the danger of the break and wipes out on her first wave. She panics – and can’t control herself morphing into her true alien form! She escapes before Madison notices, but it was a close call. Zoey decides that she and Kiki can no longer surf – it’s too risky. But when Madison and Brandon fight, Zoey will be the only one around that can save her from the Lighthouse Break. Will Zoey risk it?
Trivia[]
Goof: In this episode, Zoey uses a microwave to make popcorn. It was established earlier in the series being close to microwave frequencies will force the girls to be locked into their energy forms. Zoey remains in her corporeal form throughout the scene.
- Zoey mentions that they are only vulnerable to this disruption until they "recalibrate their energy levels". By this point, they have most likely "recalibrated" and are no longer affected by microwave emissions.
Goof: When Madison is talking to Zoey about the Lighthouse Break, she is wearing her orange bikini. But when they arrive at the location, she is wearing her white and pink bikini.
- This is most likely a scene shooting/continuity error, as later in the episode, she does surf at the Lighthouse Break wearing her orange bikini.
